Hello all you rental #AVtweeps! It’s been a while since I wrote your intro. I’d like to talk to you about trade show season; as you well know, it’s upon us! ISE is happening in a couple of short weeks, and then we have InfoComm 2022 to look forward to. In a sense, like all conferences, trade shows are an interesting staging example because we move everything in for just a few days and then move it right back out. What’s some of the most exciting tech you’ve wanted to see at a trade show? Michael Katz wrote his article about his experience at the New York International Auto Show and how impressed he was with the exhibits. Good things to come for the rest of the trade shows this season, I hope!
If you’re attending ISE or InfoComm, we hope to see you there! P.S. If you use the code “RAVE” while registering for InfoComm, your pass is free! If you’re not attending ISE, or if you are but want a firsthand look at all our content, check out registration for ISE rePLAY!
Also: Readers’ Choice Awards are back! Click on the story under “awards” for how you can nominate all your favorite products, manufacturers and more.
Finally, take a look at Nathan Haynes’ column all about AI and AV. We tend to reach for the term even when, according to Nathan, the tech we’re describing is not true AI. What does that have to do with us in AV? Read his column to find out the rest.
Have a good rest of the week!
