Who doesn’t love a little AI news on a Friday morning (or afternoon … depending on where you are)? Well, it isn’t exactly news so much as it is thoughts about who’s in charge of regulating it. As I’m sure you guessed, the answer is not simple. The United States — in a move that surprises no one — is taking a very decentralized approach. Every state for themselves, but with some federal regulation woven in there in a very haphazard way, in my opinion. So where does that leave us? Read Alan Brawn’s column for more.
