InfoComm is around the corner, #AVtweeps. I can’t wait! I don’t know what most of you are hoping to see at the show, but I am really hoping for some exciting and new meeting solutions. I think we’re in a throw-everything-at-the-wall-and-see-what-sticks era of UCC technology … aka a lawless land. Because how the hell are we meeting right now? Traditional boardroom? Meeting from home? In the car? Huddle spaces? From your cubicle? The answer is yes. How do you build technology that can accommodate all that? That’s for some of y’all to answer. You make the stuff and I will be more than happy to write about it.
Meeting technology doesn’t necessarily have to be super complicated and space age to be successful, though. Maybe it’s the opposite. Think simple. One out-of-the-box company, Glue Collaboration, might soon meet its end as its parent company, Fake Production, has filed for bankruptcy. Read more here.
