Happy holidays from the quaran-queen! (That’s me; I’m the quaran-queen.) I hope you’re all safe, happy and with family this holiday season and are not spending your holidays quarantining in your apartment (like me). But if you are, cheers!
Let’s keep this short and sweet. Murphy Daley wrote a column this time all about the importance of lists. In AV, lists are just as important as they are anywhere else. Especially when, like Murphy, you’re a project manager in our industry. Let’s all make a New Year’s resolution to be better at making and sticking to lists — how will that help you with all those tasks to make your respective institutions the best they can be? Integrators, y’all know lists, (along with the regular suspects of project documents), keep an install on task. Let’s all make more of them.
Next up, Michael Katz is working on a series about what he accomplished at InfoComm. I’m sure if you attended (or if you didn’t), you heard mixed reviews. Yes, the show was smaller. But, many people who went had a great experience. Michael says this was his best InfoComm yet because of the power of relationships. Read his column to find out why networking can really make or break your trade show experience.
That’s all from me. Happy holidays, everyone!
