Welcome, rAVe rental readers, to another issue of our newsletter! It has been quite a month around these parts. From hosting live events to getting all the latest news on the rAVe [PUBS] site, I can definitely say this industry has kept me busy during September! Our most recent event was NSCA’s Pivot to Profit Virtual (P2Pv)— and we hosted it on our rAVe LAVNCH platform! As usual, I was the host with the most! And I had so much fun. (Peep Leah McCann‘s wrap-up articles for proof. Here is Day One. Here is Day Two.) As always, I know you are all looking forward to more LAVNCH news! Can’t wait to tell you what we have coming up next!
In this newsletter, I have three different columns for you that are all over the board. First of all, we talk about gaming software in a piece from our friends over at Futuresource Consulting. While gaming is something that we think of as being a home activity, gaming equipment is on the rise as people are using it from home to attend all the virtual events we were initially supposed to attend in person. Next up, we are talking about the Amish and taking a general look at people who adapt to different technology. It’s a fun read! And finally, Mark Coxon gives us some scientific/psychological perspective on a phenomenon called “adaptive forgetfulness.” So, if you are forgetful like me and you think it’s a bad thing — Mark has some news for you!
Finally, what you really came here for: the product news! Check out Extron’s new amplifier, JVC’s new Facebook Live/YouTube Streaming capabilities, LG’s new monitors and more! Also — we have some interesting industry news and case studies for your perusal (and all the latest on ISE!).
Have a great weekend, #AVtweeps.
