Latest headlines: Gary Kayye on the projection mapping market and what it will be worth in 2026, plus news from SiliconCore Technology

January 13, 2022 | Volume: 14 | Issue: 1

Projection mapping is much more than just a signage option, according to Gary Kayye. Honestly, what seemed a few years ago to be a kooky crazy projection option meant for the likes of Cinderella’s Castle at Disney World and museum installations has quickly become an advertising staple. In fact, according to a recent report from Markets & Markets, it’s projected to be worth $8 billion by 2026. Check out Gary’s latest blog for more information on how AV can capitalize on this impressive trend.

ISE also announced that the show would be postponed until May 2022 this week. This comes as a disappointment to some and a sigh of relief to others. I hope that the move to May will decrease COVID numbers and increase attendee numbers so that I can see all you #AVtweeps!

Anyway, check out the other news: Sharp/NEC’s new laser projector, CrownTV’s new app for NFTs at retailers, Extron’s new power-management solution and more.

Enjoy!
