Hello, #AVtweeps. Happy Tuesday!
Even though we are seemingly (hopefully) headed toward the end of the pandemic, I know that I am not alone in feeling the pandemic burnout. Like so many of you, I have found myself working even longer hours lately because, well, what else do I have to do? I’ll be honest when I say it has not been great for the ol’ mental health. So I implore all of you to make sure you are taking plenty of breaks today. Take a turn about the room. Stretch. Log off at a good time.
It was Michael Katz’s article that got me thinking about that this week, as he writes about “FUD.” Fear, uncertainty and doubt are running rampant during these times, and he talks about the situations in which he’s dealt with this in his professional and personal life. I had a good time editing it; I hope you have a good time reading it.
I will end this on a positive note: I am going on vacation starting tomorrow! I’ll be on the lookout for digital signage solutions all over Disney World, and I plan on reporting back!
