Any time I’m developing a new hobby or learning about something new, I like to learn everything I can about it … to my detriment. A good example is when I decided I wanted a record player, I did so much research that by the end I was in like 10 Subreddits about what cartridges work best in what environments and how long you should really extend an RCA cable with ground (not very long) and why you even ground cables in the first place. This story’s point is that I did the same thing when I was researching immersive audio for a column I was writing, so I decided to compile the new things I learned into one article for you.
