Welcome to one of the biggest issues of rAVe ED ever.
Why is it so big? Well, we’re covering two shows simultaneously for you — both InfoComm and UB Tech are happening on the same week next week and we have actually set up two different show MicroSites so that you get ALL the coverage. This issue is filled with news from both shows, too.
UB Tech is a high-end ed-tech conference dedicated to higher education technology and we will actually send a half-dozen reporters over to the show on Monday and Tuesday of next week to shoot new product videos on every product introduced on the show floor! And, all of them will be posted
here (on the dedicated UB Tech Microsite).
Oh, and I am honored to be the keynote speaker for the UB Tech Conference for the third year in a row —
you can actually watch my keynote live here on Mon., June 10 at 4 p.m. ET.
As for InfoComm 2019, we are bringing over 35 reporters to the annual mega-AV show, this year in Orlando, Fla., which kicks -off next week but the news is already pouring in — at a record pace. And, to help you aggregate it all, we’ve set-up a dedicated
InfoComm Microsite here.
And, one thing differentiates our coverage — we are the only publication where you can read, listen or WATCH the new product news. Unlike ALL our competition who only shoot product videos in booths where they are being paid to shoot them, we actually send our reporters to EVERY single booth on the show floor and we shoot videos of everything we see. We expect to shoot over 1,700 videos and, again, they’ll all be posted here over the next week and a half. So, go back often!
This issue has over 30 new product stories, by the way. But, my favorite story in here is the very first one — the announcement of our
2019 Readers’ Choice Awards. Again, unlike most other AV pubs, we don’t do play-for-play awards. So, these are unsponsored, unpaid and unbiased. I hope you’ll check out the winners!
Enjoy this issue of rAVe ED and, if you’re heading to InfoComm, please stop by our booth in the lobby (and pick up a free t-shirt) and say hello to one our our reporters when you see them on the show floor — they will be working 15-18-hour days next week!
