Hello again, #AVtweeps! As all our American readers know, it is Thanksgiving week, which means most of us have a short work week, and then we spend the rest traveling to be with our families on Thursday. So, I come bearing gifts in the form of fascinating things for you to read on the plane ride, car ride, boat ride, etc. (I don’t know how y’all travel, and I don’t judge.)
In terms of columns we have for you this time, our Sara Abrons attended #AVEC19, and she wrote a blog about everything she learned. Plus, Frederick Ampel writes about the right time to deny a client request — because the long game always pays off.
In other news, BrightSign has a new digital signage solution called BrightVoice. Christie extended the company’s flat panel LCD lineup. NEC Display Solutions Europe announced all-in-one LED Screens. Also, we have a complete list of all the stands that will be at #ISE2020. Check them out.
Anyways, enjoy the rest of your week! And if you’re going home for the first time in forever, safe travels! May everyone’s hearts and stomachs be full.

One of the things a consultant is often asked to do, especially for a repeat client, is to evaluate the work presented by others. Unfortunately, this is usually requested AFTER the proposal or submission has been generated and presented. If you’re asked to undertake such an analysis, what you’re really being asked is to determine if what was presented was a viable solution to the problem.
The thing about old electronics: they work fine… until suddenly they don't.I ditched my outdated TV — and learned about shopping for consumer products in today's tech-saturated market.
