I'm in New York City for Digital Signage Week this week, one of the best places in the world to see great digital signage and DOOH. Although one opportunity I've apparently missed is to see the controversial Ballyhoo Media barge, which had motored up from Florida, boasting a large LED display that played ads for the past year all across the Hudson River. Such floating ad boats had been banned recently, but Ballyhoo was attempting to skate by on a technicality. This did not make New Yorkers happy.
No more, according to a judge — although Ballyhoo's owner says he's still within his legal rights and is only "temporarily returning to Florida." (h/t:

Anyway,
follow us on social to see what we do see here in New York. If you're in the NYC area, you should
stop by the NEC Display showcase, which is tomorrow. I'm giving a short talk in the afternoon on why AV integrators should care about #adtech.
Finally, ISE 2020 registration has just opened, and we've got your free pass!
