We have a team in Melbourne, Australia this week for Integrate 2019, ANZ’s show for ProAV and integrated technology solutions. You can see all of the news from the show on the dedicated

Christopher Jaynes’ most recent blog,
The Isolated Worlds of Videoconferencing, could not be more timely. The UCC space, especially the virtual meetings vertical, is close to full saturation despite Zoom’s activity in occupying most of the market share from a use perspective. A buyer purchases a videoconferencing service and they deploy it in their organization — and for larger organizations, different buyers buy different services (and this isn’t even including acquisitions and mergers). Meeting attendees (both inter-organization and outer-organization) then find themselves installing every soft codec on the market to be able to attend all of the meetings they find themselves needing to attend.
Christopher’s recommendation: Don’t tell a Samsung user to buy an iPhone and vice versa. The same perspective applies to cloud meeting solutions. Read more about his thoughts in the blog below.
