AptoVision Announces BlueRiver NT+, Capable of 4K/60 (4:4:4) Video Extension and Switching
AptoVision today announced its new BlueRiver NT+ chipset can now support IP-based switching and extension of true 4K/60Hz (4:4:4) video with zero frame latency over 100 meters of CatX or 30KM of fiber.
While practically all existing solutions claiming support for 4K/Ultra-HD transmission compromise either on refresh rate (30Hz at 4:4:4) or on color space (4:2:0 at 60Hz), the BlueRiver NT+ uniquely delivers true 4K quality with a refresh rate of 60Hz at the full 4:4:4 color space.
The new chipset is also HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 compliant and supports the transmission of audio, GbE, 480Mbps USB 2.0, RS-232 & IR. Combining long range signal extension and IP-based switching with multi-video compositing, the BlueRiver NT+ replaces multiple pieces of AV equipment for AV/KVM extension, AV/KVM switching, video-wall and multi-view applications with a single AptoVision powered system. Incorporation of BlueRiver NT+ technology into AV systems can result in cost saving of over 60 percent for equipment and installation, millions of dollars in reduced R&D spending, and a dramatic reduction in time to market.
The new BlueRiver NT+ chipset will be demo’d at AptoVision’s booth (#4381) during the InfoComm 2015. Details are here.
