AOPEN today announced the launch of two Windows-based Digital Engine models, the DE5500 and DEX5550 with AIoT Edge Control capabilities. With a fanless design that integrates into kiosks and behind displays, the UHD (4K) DEX5550 is designed for 24/7 enterprise applications and for interactive kiosks, 3D wayfinding and digital signage. The DEX5550 is ruggedized and features:

Its optional AOPEN intelligent Control Unit provides device management like SuperRTC, advanced scheduling and resolution and black-screen prevention with its EDID Emulator. Features include:
