Analog Way exhibits Saphyr, Hi-Resolution Mixer at ISE 2014

analogway-logoJanuary 2014 – Analog Way is pleased to exhibit Saphyr, a new Mixer / Seamless Switcher with Native Matrix mode. Saphyr is based on Analog Way’s MidraTM platform, a new line of mid-range Mixers / Seamless Switchers. Saphyr will be demonstrated in Analog Way’s booth #11-F58 during Integrated Systems Europe 2014, on February 4-6, in Amsterdam, NL.

Saphyr (Ref.SPX450) offers diverse connectivity with 10 seamless inputs and 16 input plugs including DVI-D, HDMI and 3G-SDI. It features 2 outputs and a video output with digital and analog connectivity. Saphyr provides a Mosaic Preview with 2 modes. EDID management is now standard for all computer sources.

Saphyr can be used as a Mixer or as a Matrix, and allows display of up to 3 layers on a frame background + 2 logos per output. The new Quick Frame function places a foreground frame over all other layers when necessary. A simple button push allows return to the previous display. Saphyr offers many options to animate layers: Flying Zoom, Freeze feature for any input, layer or screen, ability to crop frames and logos, etc.

As with all products in the MidraTM platform, Saphyr includes advanced audio management. Digital audio can easily be embedded or de-embedded on HDMI and DVI-D connectors on inputs and outputs.

Saphyr can be controlled directly from its front panel, which includes many hot keys for presets, effects, Mosaic Preview, etc. It can also be controlled through the RK-350, a new Remote Keypad, or the RCS2, a user-friendly and intuitive graphic interface designed for the MidraTM series. As an AIR application, the RCS2 is compatible with Windows, Mac OS and Linux. It offers 3 main sections to setup and control the units: Setup, Edit and Live.

To facilitate the ease of integration of the MidraTM series, Analog Way provides a full package of drivers for easy control through Crestron and AMX control systems.
