Each week, I am highlighting on some of the incredible people who are in the Audio Video Industry. As this blog is mostly about AV insiders, today we are profiling Amitkumar Gupta .

Here is a brief intro about him.

Amitkumar Gupta has worked in the Audiovisual industry for over 10 years. He is currently working as a project manager for Sahara corporation.

1.Describe your journey in the AV industry? How did it start?

It started in 2005 from Leviathan systems (SMC) as a project Engineer to Project Manager currently working till date in SAHARA.

2.What do you think is the challenges that are facing a new person who wants to join the industry.

Any new person joining the industry is not been exposed to the other tough side of the work that he is going to face or come upon him by matter of chance depending on the situation he is going to handle. There’s a lot of exposure and learning side to it that the person’s physical attributes might come which he is never known.In my case I never thought I would be going thru facing such kind of stuffs.

3.What are the positives of working in this industry.

A person might learn a lot of things in addition to what he has studied or not expected of. Working on Projects involves coordination ,interaction,skills that may enhance a person’s career too.

4.What in your opinion would you change in the industry? What are the negatives that are prevalent ?

People overlook this Industry. Equal Weightage should be given without compromising to improve the work quality.

5.Describe your ideal client? What do you wish clients to know before hiring you.

An ideal client knows better for what he is hiring and assigns the work accordingly as per his capabilities.

6.If you were going to start over, what would you do differently?

Good Team to begin with and proper knowledge. Many of us who have started in the same way may be this way the industry works allowing you to learn yourself.

7.Describe a typical work day for you. What are your daily disciplines?

Get through the work schedule to know what has to be done. Planning and survey.

8.Describe the apps and gear that you use daily which makes you more productive?

I just use my email client for my daily updates
