Alpha Video & Audio announced today that Stan Stanek is retiring from his position as president and CEO and Kevin Groves is now the sole owner of the company. Stan will retire from the company on July 31 after working at Alpha Video for 33 years and becoming a co-owner in 2003.

Commenting on retirement, Stan said, “Kevin and I have had a great partnership since we purchased the company. We’ve doubled the revenue, doubled the number of employees and, with our move in June, we’ve double the size of our facilities. Stepping away from Alpha Video after 33 years will be difficult, but I’m confident that Kevin and the management team he has assembled will continue to grow Alpha Video.” Stan added that he is looking forward to traveling more and spending more time at his family cabin.

In his first statement as president and CEO, Kevin Groves said, “This change of ownership in not a radical transition but should be seen as a progression from what Stan and I started in 2003. I purchased the company because I believe there is still tremendous opportunity for everyone at Alpha Video to prosper through our unified effort in growing the company. I am unbelievably optimistic about the future of Alpha Video.”
