Allen & Heath has introduced six new Qu digital mixers, incorporating 96kHz FPGA and DEEP Processing capabilities, Dante-enabled variants and workflow improvements across the range. All models are built on a unified platform and offer 38 inputs, 12 mixes, 4 matrix outputs, 6 FX engines with dedicated stereo returns and an SLink port for remote I/O expansion via the Everything I/O ecosystem.

Each mixer includes a 32×32 USB-C audio interface for DAW integration, 32-channel multitrack recording via SD card and stereo recording/playback through USB-A.

The new series includes three frame sizes, each available in standard and Dante-enabled formats:

  • Qu-5 / Qu-5D: 17 faders, 16 XLR inputs, 12 XLR outputs
  • Qu-6 / Qu-6D: 25 faders, 24 XLR inputs, 16 XLR outputs
  • Qu-7 / Qu-7D: 33 faders, 32 XLR inputs, 20 XLR outputs

Dante models include an integrated 16×16 Dante interface supporting 48/96kHz.

Additional features across the range include four custom fader layers, expanded SoftKeys, flexible routing and a refreshed user interface with a redesigned touchscreen for faster navigation and control.

All models are DEEP Processing-ready, and an upcoming firmware update (V1.1) will add optional plug-ins from the dLive series, including compressor and preamp emulations. The new Qu series also integrates Feedback and Gain Assistants from the CQ series to streamline setup and soundchecks.
