Airtame Announces Partnership with AirServer
Airtame announced a partnership with AirServer that includes Airtame 2. Customers now have the option to activate AirServer and can mirror or cast their screen from any device to any screen via AirPlay, Google Cast and Miracast. This was previously a significant weakness of Airtime in commercial applications and makes them a contender with ScreenBeam now.
The feature is available for Airtame’s desktop app for Windows, macOS, Chromebook and Linux and is free. Using Airtame Cloud, IT admins can enable AirServer support for all Airtame 2 devices. It’s possible to allow one, two or three screen-mirroring options, and limit access to specific screens, depending on the use case, location and/or network configuration.
AirServer support for Google Cast is already available in public beta. Support for Miracast and AirPlay will follow in early 2020. Here is more information on Airtame.
