Advanced’s Innovative AV Installation At GE Global Innovation Center Wins The Gold 2014 DSE APEX Award

ApexAward_1013MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO, February 14, 2014 — Advanced, Canada’s leading AV and IT integrator, today announced that its IQ™ Global Innovation Center installation won the Gold DSE 2014 Apex Award – the highest honor – in the Business, Industry & Government category. The installation consists of 55 rooms and a jaw-dropping 58-foot Prysm LPD video wall specifically designed for customer exploration. The award was announced on February 12th, 2014, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Advanced utilized the most cutting-edge AV solutions throughout the facility. The Prysm video wall and several wall-mounted touchscreen displays allow customers to explore GE’s energy technologies firsthand, while enabling them to discover solutions to improve and enhance their energy grids. The AV installation also encompasses an additional 54 rooms, including executive offices, boardrooms, training rooms, meeting rooms and many more.

The annual DSE Apex Awards honor innovation as demonstrated in the deployment of technology in the global digital signage, interactive technology and digital out-of-home industries. All nominated content is judged based on its ability to tackle a challenge, develop a solution and product an effective result. Gold, Silver and Bronze winners are announced for each category.
