Adamson Hires Jeremiah Karni; Expands Application Support

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAPort Perry, Ontario (January 2015) – Adamson Systems Engineering has expanded their support team with the addition of Jeremiah Karni. The new applications engineer will assist customers with system design and provide product support and training. The announcement was made by James Oliver, director of marketing and sales.

“We have experienced a tremendous amount of growth in the last year,” explains Oliver. “With this expanding client base, it is essential that we maintain the high level of education and support that Adamson clients are accustomed to. Jeremiah fits the mold for the type of character and skills needed to grow our team.”

Karni attended Southern Cross University in Australia where he received a bachelor’s degree in music with a major in music production. During his time at the University he became involved in the local live sound scene, ultimately becoming a house tech at a nearby club. After graduation he worked freelance providing corporate AV and outside broadcast services in Australia which turned into gigs with PA and AV companies around the globe. During that time he provided system tech, FOH and monitor engineering services until he settled in Canada.

Before joining Adamson he was working freelance in a variety of roles such as FOH, system tech and monitor engineer for acts such as The Black Eyed Peas, Broken Social Scene, Timber Timbre and Brendan Perry (Dead Can Dance) among others.

“I am very excited to join Adamson,” Karni adds. “The company has an amazing reputation. The opportunity to help sound companies design PA systems around Adamson products is extremely appealing to me. It’s the type of hands on work I really enjoy.”
