Acurus Drops 200 Watt M8X 8-channel and M4X 4-channel Power Amplifiers
Acurus introduced two new multi-channel amplifiers for home cinema and media room applications: the M8X and M4X. The 2RU power amplifiers are priced at $5,999 and $4,499, respectively.
The M8X features eight channels, while the M4X includes four. Both models deliver 200 watts per channel and use Class D amplification. They are built with balanced input gain stages and are engineered to maintain low noise and distortion levels.
Control options include input trigger, RS-232, and Ethernet connectivity, along with support for cloud-based remote management.
The M8X and M4X are designed to pair with Acurus’ MUSE 16-channel and ACT 4 20-channel preamp-processors, offering integration flexibility for high-performance residential AV systems.
