ACT 4 20-Channel Immersive Processor Available
Acurus announced availability of its ACT 4 audio processing platform, a 20-channel processor with IP control, a mobile app and ASPEQT support. The ACT 4 20 natively decodes Dolby Atmos 9.1.6, plus supports up to four additional configurable channel outputs for maximum layouts of 9.5.6 or 9.7.4. Installers will value the easy set-up of the ACT 4 along with its wide stable of support for control solutions from the likes of C4, Savant, Crestron, Elan, Kramer, Extron and URC.
Included in the expanded system are new web-control features via the ACT 4’s refreshed mobile app plus embedded technology to support the Acurus proprietary automatic room correction tool, ASPEQT (Acurus Speaker Parameter EQ Tool). Designed to simplify the process of immersive processor system EQ and room tuning, ASPEQT is an feature for the Acurus processor line and is scheduled for release in spring of 2019.
