The powerful processing driving EDCS provides enterprise level camera control across multiple studio camera robotics systems via the network by utilizing a SQL database with configurable access control. With EDCS, all aspects of camera robotics control can be cost-effectively centralized and managed for true enterprise level operations.

The EDCS system is designed to operate with Telemetrics innovative Robotic Camera Control Panels (RCCP-1) and Camera Shading Panels (CSP) to control all camera robotics functionality and data. EDCS provides seamless operation between multiple controllers with user and device settings accessible from any control location. All robotics and camera settings are immediately available in real time through the EDCS master controller. Feature capabilities include the ability to display all camera settings, studio settings, camera station settings, synchronization of databases and backup of database system management. User level access is provided to ensure smooth operational work flow and data security.
