WyreStorm to Showcase Latest 4K over Modular HDBaseT and Multiple 4K over IP Technologies at InfoComm 2017

WyreStorm is set to use InfoComm 2017 to demonstrate the “Right Technology for the Application” with its 4K UHD AV signal distribution solutions over modular multi-format HDBaseT and AV over IP technologies over 1Gb and 10Gb.
The company will expand on its NetworkHD line of AV over IP solutions with additions to its H.264 platform low bandwidth 200 Series with the NHD-210-RX decoder offering video wall processing up to 16×16 and multiview, the NHD-230-TX windowing processor and NHD-300-TX WAN streaming encoder.

All products within the NetworkHD ecosystem are compatible with the revolutionary free NetworkHD Touch iPad app for live previews, drag and drop selection and access to entire NetworkHD systems.  All of which are seeing NetworkHD rapidly becoming the go-to AV over IP solution for integrators of hospitality, corporate and education and more.

To emphasize the point, WyreStorm’s InfoComm 2017 booth will feature a side-by-side comparison of WyreStorm 4K UHD signal distribution technologies, including its Pure HDMI and HDBaseT H2X lines and its new NetworkHD 4K over IP technologies, including low-latency JPEG2000 platform NetworkHD 400 Series, as well the 600 Series 10Gb over IP based on the AptoVision BlueRiver platform for virtually uncompressed 4K transmissions over IP.

Attendees to the WyreStorm booth are encouraged to judge for themselves which solution they prefer for their commercial applications, with WyreStorm tech experts on hand to explain features and the differences between the technologies and suitability to particular Pro AV applications.

Following on from its PP-CUSTOM matrix line, WyreStorm has embraced modular HDBaseT distribution for its 4K UHD matrix switchers to enable commercial integrators to tailor distributions to the precise needs of their project.

More news relates to its newly launched H2X Series of 10×10 and 16×16 4K HDR video and integrated audio matrix switcher series. Modular in nature, the HDBaseT Class A 5Play H2X Series already shipped with an optional HDBaseT Input card at launch for distribution of a remote source, but InfoComm 2017 will see the world unveiling of five new transmission cards.  New H2X cards aim to provide unrivalled flexibility of transmission through an H2X matrix switcher by expanding either its video or audio capabilities or by supporting specific transmission technologies that open up new applications for H2X distribution.  A multimode fiber output card enables 4K UHD 444@60hz up to a massive 300m/984ft.  An HDMI In to HDBaseT out card offers slight compression to support 4K HDR 10-bit @60Hz within the HDBaseT bandwidth.  Finally, an SDI Input card featuring balanced input/output audio to support Pro video applications such as broadcast, pro monitoring and event cameras.

By combining with the RX-70-4K-SCL scaling receiver also showcased at InfoComm 2017, commercial projects are able to resolve the issue of mixing 4K and 2K sources and displays in an installation by downscaling 4K UHD content to 1080/720p or upscaling any incoming content to 4K/60 444 8-bit.  With full HDCP2.2 compatibility, S/PDIF and analog audio breakout, dual Ethernet ports via Telnet and RS232 and scaling, ARC, CEC and audio out all controlled via Telnet over HDBaseT – its what commercial 4K distribution has been waiting for.

In addition to these exciting new developments exhibited at InfoComm for the first time, the WyreStorm booth will also be demonstrating multi-view presentation switching with in-desk HDMI and VGA connectivity with the WyreStorm SW-0402-MV; USB over HDBaseT in the form of its EX-100-4K-PRO extender and SP-0108-HDBT splitter; as well as presentation switching over HDBaseT and IP with wireless and wired screen mirroring via the WyreStorm SW-0501 with ScreenLink collaboration software.
