New Virtual Reality Sync Solution Gives 360-Degree Filming a Professional Workflow

Over the past few years, more and more video production companies, advertising agencies, and broadcast networks have started experimenting with virtual reality (VR) filming, but integrating 360-degree content into professional production workflows has been time-consuming due to the manual process of synchronising the multiple streams of non-timecoded footage. Joe Gibbs Racing Takes the Spotlight on Timecode Systems Booth

A NASCAR race car will be the centrepiece of Timecode Systems’ 2017 booth. This represents the launch of an exciting project between the company and Joe Gibbs Racing. Members of the pit crew from the leading NASCAR team will join Timecode Systems at the 2017 NAB Show to show delegates the flexibility and breadth of application of the company’s system through a unique configuration of the SyncBac PRO and the BLINK Hub app created for the 2017 race season. The primary goal of the project was to use the products for highly accurate video analysis, but by utilizing Timecode Systems’ Ethernet and Wi-Fi software development kits, Joe Gibbs Racing has been able to go even further, using the system to integrate the same accurate timecode with biometric and general metadata.
