That’s a Wrap! [Read This First]

infocomm13-0613The 2013 version of InfoComm has come to a close, but our coverage here will live forever here — on this InfoComm 2013 microsite!

We have so much coverage — and there’s so much information on this InfoComm microsite that it can be overwhelming. So, please take moment to read this so we can familiarize you with what’s on this site. First off, we have a media sponsor contract with InfoComm that allows us to do this site. So, we’re an official media partner to InfoComm. Our eight sponsors funded this site and all the coverage on it — so visit them and, when you do see them in person, thank them. All eight have small banner ads on the right side of this site. We couldn’t do this without Barco, Christie, Cisco, NEC, Visix, FSR, Panasonic and Almo Pro A/V.

This site is not intended to be a replacement for attending the show live — you can’t replace an experience like that. However, it’s meant to augment an attendance. In fact, we get much of our site traffic from InfoComm attendees who couldn’t see everything they wanted to see in the three days of the show in Orlando and the rest come from people who wish they could attend and didn’t get to. Either way, you will find this show microsite helpful.

The home page is sort of an aggregate of a little of each of the coverage in one place – sort of a launch page. To the right of the HOME tab you will see the NEWS & BLOGS page — where you are actually reading this post. This is where we post all the blogs and news stories that we write — as well as commentary — written by our team of reporters on-site at the show (and when you click on the tab header NEWS & BLOGS, you’ll see a section called PRESS RELEASES — that is where you can, literally, see news stories on every single product launched at InfoComm — yes, all of them). The tab next to this one is where we posted all 1,300 or so VIDEOS we shot at InfoComm. VIDEOS include every video we shot at InfoComm — every single one. We have them broken out by both product category as well as one-on-one interviews we conducted with an assortment of market leaders. Next to that, we have over 2,000 PHOTOS we shot during the InfoComm show. They include product, people and booth on the show floor as well as pictures of people playing THE GAME 4. Speaking of THE GAME 4, the tab to the right of PHOTOS is for THE GAME 4 — it’s a game we played LIVE at InfoComm and during it we even gave one lucky winner a SMART Car. On the right of that, we bring you rAVe RADIO: These are all the PODCASTS we recorded LIVE from the show floor — over 20 of them this year! The last section is where all the details of the Top-10 Tour live – and we’ve even posted a copy of the Top 10 Tour Guide (in PDF format) on that page so you can see which new products we thought attendees needed to see, live, while at the show.
