It looks like Fridays are becoming the big news days in UCC, and today happens to be no exception.
It was announced today that leading cloud video service provider Videxio has signed a global agreement with Ricoh, where the worldwide technology solutions provider will offer the Videxio service branded as RICOH Unified Communication System Advanced (hereafter known as “UCS Advanced”). The launch of UCS Advanced initially in Europe is Ricoh’s response to the growing demand from European organizations for easy to use, cost-effective video collaboration solutions. UCS Advanced makes it possible for customers to integrate existing video and audio environments, letting them make the most of their current investments.
With UCS Advanced, organizations no longer have to invest in video infrastructure – they now pay a monthly subscription according to usage. Intelligent tools make start-up easy and everyone can be online within minutes. This service supports a range of videoconferencing systems from different manufacturers meaning that users can videoconference on the device of their choice, be it computer, tablet or smartphone, along with a range of protocols including browser based videoconferencing and Skype for Business.
Ricoh, a global technology company, has been transforming the way people work for more than 80 years. Ricoh continues to empower companies and individuals with services and technologies that inspire innovation, enhance sustainability and boost business growth. These include document management systems, IT services, production print solutions, digital cameras, and industrial systems.
