RCF Expands NX Series with Active Two-Way Cabinets

Specifically designed to be the everyday tool for professional musicians, rental and production companies, RCF is bringing to market new NX Series active two-way sound reinforcement cabinets. Conceived as a complement to the RCF high powered systems as the HDL System or the NXL arrays, the new NX cabinets feature much of the power and accessories of the TT+ series including the rigging points and the FiRPHASE technology in a rugged, durable cabinet design made for everyday use.

Built as one of the most flexible speakers for deploying performance-quality sound, the cabinets are multi-function, mutliply birch wood cabinets with both pole mount cup for either standalone use or coupled with a subwoofer, along with built-in rigging points for installation use.

The NX 32-A is a compact 12” two-way bi-amped active touring system for medium to large events, both indoors and outdoors. It features a 1400-watts two-way class-D amplifier and onboard DSP with limiters and protection. RCF has also incorporated the new FiRPHASE filters into the DSP to achieve linear and coherent distributor of sound without phase distortion.

The NX 45-A is a compact 15” two-way bi-amped active touring system for medium to large events, both indoors and outdoors. It features a 1400-watt, two-way class-D amplifier and onboard DSP with limiters and protection. RCF has also incorporated the new FiRPHASE filters into the DSP to achieve linear and coherent distributor of sound without phase distortion.

  • 12” woofer with 2.5” voice coil + 3” high-frequency neodymium compression driver
  • Frequency response: 50 Hz – 20 kHz with crossover point 700 Hz
  • Pattern: 90° x 60° constant directivity coverage
  • Max SPL: 131 dB

Specs for the NX 45-A include:

  • 15” woofer with 3.5″ voice coil + 4″ high-frequency neodymium compression driver
  • Frequency response: 45 Hz – 20 kHz with crossover point 700 Hz
  • Pattern: 90° x 50° constant directivity coverage
  • Max SPL: 133 dB
