Rants and rAVes — Episode 802: NETGEAR Heads to ISE Partnered with SDVoE
NETGEAR will again be in the SDVoE Alliance Booth (Hall 3 stand B150) at ISE next week and they will be demo’ing a reference design for an HDMI input card directly into the 96X series of NETGEAR switches. The advantage of a on-board card is that racked sources can be connected directly to an AV-over-IP switch without the need for an encoder (as the encoder is on the card) and the card can actually act as a encoder (output card) as well. Listen to this podcast from NETGEAR’s own Laurent Masia as he explains the card-concept and the unique position of the 96X series AV-over-IP switches.
