Rants and rAVes — Episode 735: DVIGear Heads to InfoComm with DisplayNet 200 and New HyperLight Digital Cables for 4K and 8K
DVIGear’s CEO, Steven Barlow, joined Gary on today’s podcast to talk about their partnership with the SDVoE Alliance in AV-over-IP 4K signal routing. DVIGear was one of the first adopters of SDVoE the 10G AV-over-IP standard, and his insight into their application of it is always interesting(now the DisplayNet 200) – and, Gary asked him the equation everyone wants to know: can all SDVoE gear work together! In addition, Steve introduced us to their new HyperLight fiber cables that can send 4K and 8K signals long distances.
