This is my third discussion, in less than a year, with NETGEAR’s Senior Product Line Manager for Managed Switches, Laurent Masia, to talk about the state of AV-over-IP in the Commercial AV market. Laurent is in a unique position to know what’s going on as NETGEAR, as you likely know, makes network switching and routing gear and that’s the backbone of a network. So, he sees (and talks to) every AV-over-IP company there is including those sending video via H.264, H.265, 1G and 10G.
