Rants and rAVes — Episode 627: InfoComm Special Podcast: Epson Includes Two Interactive Short-Throw 3LCD Laser Projectors

Rants and rAVes —

Get ready for the industry’s one and only ultra short-throw laser projector in the form of two new versions of the Epson BrightLink line. BrightLink is their Interactive line of short-throw projectors and Epson, this morning, rolled out one aimed at education and one aimed at corporate applications in the form of the BrightLink 710Ui and BrightLink Pro 1470Ui, respectively.

The BrightLink 1470Ui is a WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution, 4000 Lumen projector with white boarding, Miracast and enterprise-level encryption. The BrightLink 710Ui is 4000 lumens, also WUXGA and has a 20K hour lamp life.

Both of these were discussed – as well as some 4K surprises at InfoComm – including a new 15,000 lumen 4K projector that runs on 120 volt power! Listen to Gary’s interview with Epson’s Jason Meyer who talks about their InfoComm booth #1642.
