Rants and rAVes — Episode 549: Mark Coxon, Vin Bruno, Sara Abrons and Gary Kayye Discuss Samsung/Harman Acquisition
Gary’s Rants and rAVe’s podcast is the industry’s first live discussion of Samsung’s acquisition of Harman – and this isn’t a bunch of AV-bystanders just sitting around discussing what might be. This is CEDIA’s CEO, Vin Bruno, AV Phenom-himself, Mark Coxon, rAVe’s founder and 28-year AV industry veteran, Gary Kayye and rAVe’s Editor-in-Chief, Sara Abrons. They each give their take (opinion) of the acquisition and what they think might happen. Will Samsung keep AMX, AKG, JBL, Crown and the rest of the commercial AV audio products along with the connected car stuff (the reason Samsung publicly cites for buying Harman) or, will they sell them all off?
The opinions differ – they do not agree. Listen and tell us who you agree with by commenting below!
