PresTop and Omnivision Studios Help InfoComm 2016 Attendees Find Their Way

phpsaLppVAMTHE NETHERLANDS — May 26, 2016 — For everyone who has ever visited InfoComm and had trouble finding a particular booth or exhibit feature, InfoComm 2016 will employ new technology to help them find their way.

InfoComm has partnered with Netherlands-based solution providers PresTop Group, manufacturer of touchscreen kiosks, and Omnivision Studios, developer of Omnitapps multitouch software, to bring digital wayfinding to InfoComm 2016 in Las Vegas, June 4-10. Six touchscreen display kiosks will be located strategically throughout the lobby of the Las Vegas Convention Center to help show attendees better navigate the more than 525,000 netsquare feet of show space and quickly locate exhibitors’ booths, pavilions, special events, and audio demo rooms.

“The interactive floor plan and show overview will be a welcome addition to the InfoComm 2016 experience,” said Jason McGraw, CTS®, CAE, senior vice president of expositions, InfoComm International®. “We are grateful to PresTop and Omnivision for bringing this technology to our North American show. Every year we listen to show attendees to learn how we can make InfoComm better. Wayfinding is an application of AV technology that has been deployed around the world, and we believe it will meet attendees’ desire for better, more efficient navigation of what continues to be a growing InfoComm show.”

“At InfoComm 2016 we will be demonstrating the ease-of-use and ease-of-setup of our wayfinding solution,” said Alexander Aelberts, CEO of PresTop Group. “For attendees, our interactive wayfinding kiosks are the most intuitive and user-friendly way to navigate the rich AV market of InfoComm 2016. Partners and exhibitors love the exposure our kiosks provide. With our ability to combine innovative, projected-capacitive touch displays with robust kiosks and Omnitapps software, we help lead the way.”

Omnivision Studios offers custom software development and multitouch games, but is best known to the AV industry for its Omnitapps suite of software products. Omnitapps has been deployed in multitouch screen applications in retail stores and showrooms, education and training facilities, TV studios, fairs and conferences, hotel and hospital lobbies, museums and exhibitions, and real estate centers.
