Peerless-AV Announces New Smart City Kiosk for All-Weather Applications
Peerless-AV just announced its Smart City Kiosk (KOP2549-XHB, KOP2555-XHB). The Smart City Kiosk is designed to be an all-weather-rated solution for sharing community information, travel and weather details, as well as wayfinding, advertising and entertainment.
The Smart City Kiosk includes an Xtreme High Bright Outdoor Display (in 49″, 55″ or 65″) and an optional 10-point IR touch overlay. It’s fully sealed with no air conditioning or fans needed in the display enclosure; the media storage area is also protected with PermaFlo filter and cooling fans to prevent water or dust from coming in. Peerless-AV says it can withstand winds up to 140 mph.
Featuring a curved, modular design it can be installed without the need for cranes or forklifts. Customers also have the ability to customize with paint colors for the legs, roof, and base, leg design shape, touch overlay, camera and more.
