Pakedge Demos Layer 2+ Switch with Zone Wizard at Booth 3685
Pakedge Device & Software, Inc., an industry leading manufacturer of high-performance networking devices announced an IGMP upgrade for its Layer 2+ switches.
The SX-Switches are fully managed and optimized for dynamic application and excel in powerful multimedia traffic processing. Capable of IGMP querying/snooping, these switches are ideal for commercial and enterprise level networks which need to manage multicast traffic more effectively.
The SX-24P has 24 rear-facing PoE ports, half of which are PoE+. Its state-of-the-art design and enterprise-grade components give the SX switch greater processing power and throughput in comparison to other managed switches on the A/V market. It has a completely redesigned GUI that is intuitive and user-friendly so installers can set up robust networks without all the hassle.
In addition to the new GUI, Pakedge SX-Switches have two new features. The Zone Wizard with drag and drop functionality simplifies VLAN configuration and optimizes network performance, while the Pakedge Zone templates reduce set-up time and minimize configuration errors with preconfigured and color-coded AV network architectures.
This focus on high-performance engineering and operational simplicity makes the SX-24P ideal for smart installers who want to more efficiently manage complex AV network traffic.
The new Layer 2+ switch will be on display not only at the Pakedge booth, but will also be used by QSC at their booth.
