Nuvo Adds In-Wall Keypad Controller

Legrand has announced two new additions to its Nuvo Player Portfolio hybrid audio system here at CEDIA Expo. The new Nuvo P10 Keypad, a wall-mounted, Power-over-Ethernet keypad that delivers single-zone control of the audio’s volume, track, and source, makes the Player Portfolio the first

wired/wireless system to offer an integrated keypad option. The company also announced new drivers for Crestron and Control4 that deliver seamless integration of the Player Portfolio homes using these popular control systems.

The P10 works with Nuvo’s Player App found on phones and tablets, and it offers quick access to the system’s basic functions, including volume/mute, play/pause, next/previous track navigation, as well as a “Favorites” button that allows the user to quickly scroll through up to five of their preset favorites at the preferred volume.

Incorporating PoE technology to simplify installation, the single-gang P10 uses only a single, powered Cat5 cable to power and control the system’s functions in the local zone. And with three available colors (white, light almond and nickel), it is versatile to the décor. The P10 will be available to ship in November. Crestron and Control 4 drivers can be downloaded now from Legrand’s website as well as through Crestron and Control 4.
