New Avonic PTZ Camera Debuts

Avonic today announced its completely redesigned PTZ camera, the CM40 — designed for fixed AV installations.

The CM44 camera is specifically designed for video conferencing applications; this USB-based camera is compatible with the most used soft-codec conference tools like Skype, Zoom and GoToMeeting. Avonic says that their selling point is for the price of a webcam, users now can use a real PTZ camera.

The camera is available now and comes in two models, the CM40 and CM44, both native 1080p. The CM40 has an HDMI, SDI and USB output and has a list price of 1499. It’s available in black and white. The CM44 has a USB output for video conferencing and has a list price of 799. It’s available in black.
