NEC Display Solutions Europe today announced the launch of a new range of new video wall displays. Aimed at digital signage applications like advertising, transportation information and retail as well as control rooms, the NEC UN Series has been engineered to be 24/7/365 capable. The new video walls are available in 10 different models with various sizes and performance specs.

Every video wall integrates NEC’s SpectraView engine, which enables users to make adjustments to picture quality to match the uniformity and colorimetry across each display and the entire wall. NEC says that SpectraView also makes it faster for integrators to install videos walls.

All of the UN Series includes brightness levels up to 700cd/m2, an anti-haze filter that eliminates reflections and a narrow bezel. The series includes 46” and 55” monitors and all of them allow for daisy-chaining sources via DisplayPort 1.2 and are capable of managing signals up to 4K (the monitors themselves are all native 1920×1080).
