NEC to showcase the latest in display technology for education at BETT 2017

phpkqai46amLondon, 11 January 2017 – NEC Display Solutions will attend BETT 2017 at London Excel on January 25-28, one of the biggest international education trade shows. Inviting visitors to get hands-on with its products, NEC Display Solutions will host its demonstration facility at North Gallery 14 where visitors can discover their perfect-fit education display solution.

BETT attracts over to 30,000 school leaders and education professionals from over 100 countries every year and is an excellent opportunity for NEC Display Solutions to showcase its latest developments for the education sector. NEC has been helping to steer the growth of technology in education for several decades. Its projectors, desktop and public displays are utilised in lessons, lectures and information distribution processes in many of Europe’s education facilities. NEC is the only manufacturer able to offer all the major display technologies and therefore able to recommend the perfect-fit solution for any application.

NEC will launch InfinityBoard, an interactive touch display solution for ideation, collaboration and conferencing. With built-in audio, a PC and camera, and utilising WIN 7/8/10, Android, Mac OS or Linux, InfinityBoard has already generated a lot of interest with universities looking for a slick and seamless solution. “Win10 is the operating system used by students on their own devices and when this is superseded, the NEC InfinityBoard can simply be upgraded to follow suit. It’s a modular, flexible, future-proof solution, which perfectly fits the needs of higher education,” says Jon Garaway, head of education at NEC Display Solutions.

Multi-touch screens and interactive projectors are the focal point of modern collaborative classrooms, enticing students to get up close and get involved. Visitors can try out NEC’s ShadowSenseTM touch displays ideal for classrooms and small group collaborative learning scenarios providing highly accurate intuitive touch behaviour.

With zero maintenance and an extraordinarily long life, laser projection is a compelling solution for resource stretched educational establishments. Ideal for lectures halls and auditoria, visitors will see the popular NEC P502HL 5,000lm laser projector, and the brand new PX1004UL 10,000lm laser projector delivering outstanding picture quality with 4K picture processing.

Digital signage is uniting students from diverse and wide spread campuses with centralised administration.  NEC Large Format Displays and Video Walls are widely utilised by higher education to provide welcoming, directing, promoting, informing and entertaining communications to enhance the student experience.
