Mean Well GST Series Level VI Power Adaptors – Available Now
Soanar will begin replacing the Mean Well GS series Power Adaptors with the next generation of ‘green’ adaptors – the GST series – complying with the latest energy efficiency regulations recently come into effect in the United States (EISA 2007/DoE Level VI).
The no-load power consumption (lower than 0.15W) and the working efficiency of these series supersede those of the GS (Level V) series which have been in the market for years. The GST series can effectively fulfil energy savings and carbon reduction.
Its fan-less design and wide working temperature -30 +70℃ ensure 24 hour continuous working cycles, making them highly suitable for use with various types of consumer electronics, telecommunication devices, office facilities, industrial equipment, and all kinds of apparatus or systems requiring the conformity to the latest energy related regulations.
These desktop adaptors are available in a wide voltage (input range 85VAC to 264VAC and output range 5VCD to 48VDC) and wattage range including: 25/40/60/90/120/160/220.
The GST series are supported with a 3 year warranty (compared to the 2 year warranty applied to the GS series). The new family is a drop-in replacement for the current GS series both in terms of form factor, output connections and price.
If you are a supplier to the Australian and New Zealand market, you should continue to use the GS series and as each GS model’s stock is replaced, Soanar will supply you with the drop-in replacement GST series.
