Mass Fidelity Showcases Complete Product Line At CEDIA 2016 in Dallas, TX

2016-02-23-mf-relay-product-inhand-view-72dpi-0916September 14, 2016 – Dallas – Canadian audio company, Mass Fidelity, will showcase the company’s entire lineup during CEDIA 2016 including the Relay Bluetooth Hi-Fi receiver with always-on functionality, ideal for the custom install market, as well as the Core Wireless Music System and Core Wireless Sub.

“This year at CEDIA, we are excited to showcase our complete line of products, including the Relay, a Hi-Fi Bluetooth DAC and the Core and Core Sub, our multi-room wireless music system that uses an innovative acoustic rendering technology called Wave Field Synthesis,” said Bob Perry, Chief Revenue Officer, Mass Fidelity. “The Relay, with its always-on functionality, offers an easy and simple way to add high-quality music to any legacy system with a rock-solid Bluetooth connection, while the Core and Core Sub offer a great sounding music system with multi-room connectivity.”

The Relay
The Relay streams music wirelessly from any Bluetooth enabled device, such as a smartphone or tablet, to any connected audio system. It allows users to enjoy virtually a limitless universe of digital music played through their existing Hi-Fi audio system or sound bar using either an analog or optical connection without the burden of a wireless router. No matter the format, resolution or streaming service, the Relay uses the familiar Bluetooth protocol (including Apt-X when available) to deliver incredibly high-quality music from any source.

Utilizing a built-in 24-bit Burr-Brown 5102 digital-to-audio converter (DAC), the Relay delivers audiophile-grade performance, helping to make high-quality source files (AptX®, SBC, A2DP, AAC, FLAC, WAV) sound their best, while also helping to improve lower quality music files.

The Core & Core Sub

The Mass Fidelity Core wireless audio system, with its innovative use of Wave Field Synthesis technology, creates an incredible stereo sound stage from one small speaker, and now has enhanced bass performance with the Core Wireless Subwoofer. The Core Sub connects to the audio system by a simple one-time pairing process, using its high-performance private 5.85GHz wireless network, all with the touch of a button.

Additionally, the Core can be paired with up to seven other Cores around the home for a multi-room audio experience. It easily connects with any mobile device through Bluetooth or can be hardwired via optical or analog connection and all of this in a form-factor that can be moved around and can operate for up to twelve hours on its built-in internal battery.

Carefully matched to augment the performance of the Core, the Core Subwoofer provides the exact amount of additional low frequency reproduction to enjoy rich, full and visceral depths, bringing a more immersive and enjoyable audio experience, including potential use as a “soundbar.”

Availability

The Relay is currently available online at a number of online outlets as well as through specialty retailers worldwide for $249.00. The Core and Core Wireless Sub are also available online, but the company’s website, www.massfidelity.com is currently down, but the items are available as select specialty retailers. The Core currently sells for $599 (US), while the Core Sub is available for $299 (US).
