KanexPro Intros 4K Wall Plate Switcher at ISE 2019

KanexPro announced a US-based Decora Wall Plate Series, including a double-gang HDMI 2.0 and USB-Wall Plate Switcher over HDBaseT (WP-2XHDUSBC) and a double-gang 4K HDMI and USB 2.0 Wall Plate Switcher over HDBaseT (EXT-HDBTKVM3). The KanexPro Wall Plate Series will debut at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE 2019) in Amsterdam, Netherlands from Feb. 5 – 9, 2019.

The KanexPro HDMI 2.0 and USB-C Wall Plate Switcher over HDBaseT is a 3×1 wall plate transmitter and switcher with the capabilities to switch two HDMI 2.0 outputs and one USB-C input to a remote display. Featuring IR and PoH (Power over HDBaseT), the WP-2XHDUSBC can extend 4K/60 Hz with 4:4:4 up to 40 meters (130 feet) over a single cat5e/6/7 cable. Designed for court rooms, classroom, conference rooms or showrooms, the WP-2XHDUSBC can extend audio and video from a remotely located HDMI source device with a simple-to-user interface. The device will auto-detect HDMI to USB-C inputs when connected and it can be programmed by IR learning or RS232 command.

The KanexPro HDMI and USB 2.0 Wall Plate over HDBaseT is double-gang, 2×1 HDMI wall plate transmitter and receiver set featuring 4K/60 Hz up to 40 meters (130 feet). The EXT-HDBTKVM3 is the end point for connecting over ethernet to the receiver, then it automatically connects to the 4K display. The receiver features multi-point USB 2.0, which can be used as a KVM or for VTC applications. PoH offers voltage protection when sent over ethernet without burning the other side of devices or receivers.

The KanexPro Wall Plate Series is HDCP 2.2 compliant, supports bi-directional RS232 pass-through with HDBaseT connection and local CEC, and features bi-directional power via PoH from transmitter to receiver or vice-versa.
