In booth 1250 at ISTE 2018, June 25 – 27 at the McCormick Place West Building in Chicago, the company will showcase its Pilot Series of digital teaching stations; CenterStage 4K UHD capacitive-touch interactive flat panels (IFPs); wireless document cameras; and ClassFusion, a classroom presentation and learning management system for today’s digital classrooms.

At its booth, HoverCam will showcase Pilot 3, the world’s first fully integrated wireless digital podium as a teaching station. Featuring a Windows PC, 13-megapixel document camera, and 21-inch touchscreen with wireless HD mirroring functionality in a mobile podium, it eliminates the outdated AV cart and combines the most important elements used in today’s digital classrooms. Teachers are unchained from stationary desks or lecterns and are free to move about the classroom. The Pilot’s wireless transceiver instantly beams the podium’s screen and touch annotations to any interactive flat panel, projector, or TV in HD resolutions up to 4K, eliminating the hazard of dangling cords and cables. The document camera’s built-in microphone captures audio for every lesson, and with HoverCam’s ClassFusion software, it enables interactive whiteboarding, annotation, and desktop marking for lesson recording and sharing so students can study anywhere, anytime, and on any mobile device or browser.

HoverCam will also have a working prototype of the next addition to the Pilot family at the expo. Offering the same expansive connectivity options as Pilot 3, the Pilot 1 is a tablet-based, battery-operated wireless digital teaching station that’s designed for ultra-mobility. The tablet can be charged while docked in the station or be removed to grant teachers more flexibility around the classroom. At the end of day, users simply remove the tablet and store it in the base for security.

The company’s CenterStage 4K UHD IFP will also be on display, including the new CenterStage 65-inch 6580 touchpanel, which will be released later this year. The new hyper-capacitive touchpanel features ultra-responsive touch speed and multi-pen capability that allows up to 20 pens to be used simultaneously and in multiple colors for each user. The perfect complement to HoverCam’s Pilot teaching stations, the IFP’s edge-to-edge, bezel-free design provides a tablet-like user experience that is familiar and fun to use. The CenterStage family is also available in Infrared 65-inch, 75-inch, and 86-inch models and offers an optional plug-and-play classroom audio system.

Redefining document cameras for the classroom, HoverCam’s ISTE lineup will include a powerhouse of options to fit every need and budget. Models include the Ultra 8, Solo 8Plus, Solo 8 Spark, Ultra 10, and the new Nillo 100. The Ultra 8’s built-in touch-enabled 8-megapixel LCD viewing monitor allows educators to see exactly what their students see without having to turn their backs. Users can connect a display, IFP, or projector without a PC and with a super-speed USB 3.0 port, easily record lessons straight to a PC or Mac. The new Solo 8Spark offers the same form factor and capabilities as the Solo 8Plus but is designed for Google Chromebook classrooms.

HoverCam will also demonstrate the Nillo 100, the world’s first true smart document camera. With the power of Android OS and the intelligence of a computer, the Nillo 100 packs in everything educators need in a document camera. It offers integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth®, extensive connectivity options, image capture, and video and cloud recording capabilities. Educators can drive the experience with the included Bluetooth mouse or control and stream content from the onboard control buttons, Android mobile device, or laptop.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to see a demonstration of ClassFusion, HoverCam’s comprehensive software for a fully digital classroom. It’s one of the first software solution that integrates a classroom presentation system with a learning management system designed for wireless and interactive collaboration in a multidevice ecosystem classroom.
