Global Caché Introduces Control Tower Online IR Database
Global Caché today at CEDIA announced the availability of Control Tower, a secure IR database in the cloud. The online database is available for integrators/installers, users and Global Caché partners.
Global Caché’s products connect almost any electrical device to a Wi-Fi and/or IP network so it can be controlled, automated and maintained by network-based software. The company offers other connectivity products and capabilities, including IR learning, HTTP support and sensors that can be connected to a network. Global Caché devices are designed to work with other standards based products.
Control Tower has over 138,000 IR codes and utilizes an accurate and easily searched database structure and implementation. The database is maintained on a daily basis, with emphasis on avoiding redundancy and complexity.
The company offers the Control Tower IR database at no charge to dealers, installers and users for download of up to five code sets per day. Global Caché Strategic Alliance, VAR and OEM partners are provided full access of the database and API for simple integration.
