Global Cache announced today they have entered into a strategic partnership with Controlhaus for easy use of Global Caché infrared products in an AV GUI installation. The partnership provides a platform for the companies to integrate their products and co-promote the solution. The AV GUI app with full Global Caché IR support is available on the Apple App Store today.

Global Caché’s products connect almost any electrical device to a WiFi and/or IP network so it can be controlled, automated, and maintained by network-based software. The company offers other connectivity products and capabilities, including IR learning and the award-winning Control Tower IR database, available in the cloud.

Controlhaus focuses on system design and software development for audiovisual systems, smart homes and connected buildings. AV GUI is a manufacturer-independent control app for the Apple iPad that helps systems integrators and technology managers automate and control their systems without special programming skills. Any device that has an IP control protocol can be integrated with AV GUI, and support for new devices is added with every update. Thanks to Global Caché, AV GUI also supports infrared device control.
