DSF Gives DSF Legacy Award to Immediate Past Chair Ken Goldberg

ken-goldberg-0316The Digital Signage Federation (DSF), a not-for-profit trade organization serving the digital signage industry, has announced that its immediate past chairman, now head of the past chairman’s council, Ken Goldberg, CEO, Real Digital Media, will receive the organization’s fifth Legacy Award.

During Goldberg’s term and under his leadership, the Digital Signage Federation expanded into Europe through an agreement with the organization formerly known as OVAB Europe, now DSF Europe. The establishment of a European affiliate organization is intended to unify the DSF’s industry advocacy efforts and educational advancement across geographic boarders and around the world.

The Digital Signage Federation Legacy Award recognizes exemplary leadership, service to our membership, and to the digital signage industry. Each term the DSF’s chairman has the opportunity to create a legacy that is in some way designed to support the business goals of its members.

Previous Legacy Award recipients included:

  • Kimberly Sarubbi, 2014 Chairman, Regional Council Program
  • Philip M. Cohen, 2013 Chairman, Meet & Greet Networking Events
  • Alan Brawn, 2012 Chairman, National Education Standards for Digital Signage
  • Robert Stowe, 2011 Chairman, Seal of Professional Excellence

Randy Dearborn, 2016 DSF chairman said, “Ken’s contribution puts the Digital Signage Federation and our industry on the world stage opening the door to future international expansion, and at the same time, creates new networking and business opportunities for both our North American and European members.”

Goldberg will be presented with the Digital Signage Federation Legacy Award at the DSE’s Wednesday Apex Award Reception on March 16 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Past Chairman’s Council and Legacy Award recipients can be viewed here.
