Kari Rae Seekins is a Los Angeles based, award winning sound designer and composer. Her sound designs and compositions have shown in various museums, festivals and theaters throughout the world including Sundance, Slamdance, Comic Con (San Diego), Fernbank Museum of Natural History, The New Zealand International Film Festival, ZKM Museum of Contempary Art, Jeu De Paume and REDCAT.
She holds degrees:
- MFA in Sound Design and Integrated Media from CalArts
- BFA in Design for the Theatre and Electroacoustic Composition from Concordia University

Here Kari is working on”Stratify” directed by Katie Shook at the High Desert Test Sites 2013 festival in Arcosanti.
Arcosanti is an experimental town and molten bronze bell casting community in Yavapai County, central Arizona (70 miles north of Phoenix, at an elevation of 3,732 feet). Paolo Soleri was the architect who established Arcosanti.
