Christie FHD553-X Joins Ultra Series Lineup of LCD Panels
Introduced today, the new Christie FHD553-X LCD flat panel, which replaces the FHD552-X, is an ultra-narrow bezel (1.7 millimeters) flat panel designed for video wall applications requiring brightness uniformity. It can be used in either portrait or landscape mode, offers a native resolution of 1920×1080 and is LED backlit. Christie is aiming this LCD at corporate lobbies, boardrooms, museums, retail, sports venues and digital signage applications.
Featuring panel matching, the brightness and color of each panel comes calibrated, eliminating much of the image adjustments typically required when installing video walls. The Smart Light Control feature can automatically adjust the brightness of each panel for uniformity across the entire video wall and consistent performance throughout its lifetime.
